Its careful production with grapes from the three original varieties, belonging to different vintages: Merlot 2015, Cabernet Sauvignon 2014 and Syrah 2016 and its limited and numbered edition of 25,450 bottles, make this wine unique and unrepeatable. Ideal to enjoy on special occasions.

Limited edition

The first edition of 8.0.1. was made to mark the occasion of the winery’s 60th anniversary in 2004 and was a limited selection of Cabernet Sauvignon from 1998, Merlot from 2000 and Syrah from 2001. Since then, the winery has wanted to maintain a limited production of this elegant signature wine, selecting different vintages for each variety.

Deeply cherry coloured, good depth, with dark-red edge and violet tones. Intense and elegant aromas on the nose of spicy and ripe fruits, roasted over a balsamic base. On the palate, the wine is well structured, tasty and full-bodied, with fine, soft and well balanced tannins. An elegant and long finish.

Serving temperature: 16 – 18 ºC

Pairing: Red meats, stews and roasts

Maceration and fermentation in stainless steel tanks for 30 days at a controlled temperature of 28-30ºC. Ageing in American oak barrels for 14 months.
